When you love your work as much as we do, you work very hard to make sure that what’s on the table is the best you can make it.

For five generations the Kirby family has taken pride in offering the highest quality fruits and vegetables to our customers. About fifteen years ago we added annuals and perennials to the list, followed by poinsettias, Christmas trees and wreaths, maintaining the same high standards.

We hope that when you visit Kirby’s Farm Market, you leave feeling the same joy and enthusiasm for the seasons and it’s produce as we do.

Opening day, May 1st, is only weeks away!  The greenhouses are already full of plants getting bigger by the day. Peas are in the ground (the earliest any of us can remember), and many other crops have been seeded in the greenhouse. April is a month of cleaning and scrubbing, getting everything in order for the busy, bustling days to come.

2012 CSA Program

We had a great first year in 2011 and we’re ready to get started again. It was a wonderful experience, for both our members and everyone here on the farm.

2012 brings a few exciting changes: you can now pickup your CSA share in Rochester, Spencerport, and Albion!  We’re also growing a greater variety of vegetables with our CSA members in mind, including onions, beans, sweet potatoes, and more of that amazing lettuce. Shares available have been increased to 200, and we’re planning to fill them all so send us an email at info@kirbysfm.com and we’ll add you to our CSA mailing list.

We’re open May 1st - December 24th

In May we begin with annuals, perennials, and a country giftshop full of Spring color. Our produce tables start the season loaded with homegrown apples, and local onions and potatoes. Before too long fresh greens, asparagus, rhubarb and peas really get the growing season rolling!

Throughout the month of December we offer Poinsettias, Christmas trees, handmade wreaths, locally made gifts and seasonal produce (Kirbygrown apples, squash, cabbage and garlic, locally grown potatoes and onions).
